Color And The
Regenerative Process

The Human Aura

God speaks in terms of tone and color, and man is a god in the making. All the attributes of Deity lie latent within him. As the whiteness of his Virgin Spirit enters into ever fuller manifestation, all the colors of the spectrum become visible in a scintillating oval radiance known as the human aura. In this is revealed the degree of development to which he has attained.

The language of color is definite and distinct. Its signature is un mistakable. Every individual process his own dominant three-fold color scheme which is composed of the fundamental color denoting his evolutionary status (the permanent aura); the color of his habitual thought (the prevailing aura); the variable, transitory colors of his animating emotion of the moment (the common aura).

If one is centered in spiritual consciousness, the aura's primary hue will be of an azure tone. Such a person being naturally opti mistic, his habitual thought is Jupiterian in quality, shown by a deep purple in the aura. His aspirations, directed toward the spirit ual, will bring into being a beautiful sunny yellow. This combina tion produces one of the most exquisitely lovely of all auras, one which well deserves to be called the "wedding garment" of a guest at the Marriage Feast of Christ.

In contrast to the foregoing, the person who is centered in the accumulationof worldly possessions regardless of the manner in which it is accomplished, will be surrounded by dull dark browns, brown being the fundamental color of acquisitiveness. This will be interspersed with heavy dark green, the habitual emanation of one whose dominant interests revolve around self. The variable aura of a person of this nature is frequently heavy grey, representative of the fear which accompanies a sense of separateness in one who lives for self alone and, therefore, apart from and fearful of others.

The human aura forms a miniature aurora borealis — an electrical display of scintillating colors — ever shifting, ever changing in a vivid array. As one develops spiritually this display of auric splendor increases. It is said that when the Lord Gautama Buddha was in meditation his disciples were able to bathe in his aura at a distance of three miles. This splendor of the illuminated soul is poetically described as the Gem of the King of Kings, or the Gem of Sovereignty. An ancient legend of India declares that, although the earth brought forth the sapphire, the cat's eye, the topaz, the ruby and the two mystic gems that are the favorite of the sun and the favorite of the moon, the Gem of the King of Kings was chief of all these as "the sheen of that jewel spreads round about for a league on every side." Scholars take this to be a reference to the diamond, but that it typified no earthly diamond is revealed in a story of King Milinda to whom was posed the question, "Suppose that on the disappearance of a sovereign overlord, the mystic Gem of Sover eignty lay concealed in a cleft on the mountain peak, and that on another sovereign overlord arriving at the supreme dignity it should appear to him, would you say, 0 King, that the gem was produced by him?" "Certainly not, sir," replied the king, "the gem would be in its original condition. But it had received, as it were, a new birth through him.''

It is also said that the followers of the Persian Master, Mani, referred to the Christ under the title of The Great Diamond. As it is known that Mani traveled in India, he was no doubt referring to the Gem of the King of Kings.

By the use of fluorescent screens similar to those obtained for X ray work, modern science has succeeded in photographing the etheric substance or vital body which surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body. Yet more sensitive instruments will be produced in the future by which the tenuous colors of the inner our soul aura will become visible, and thus vindicate still more completely the findings of what is today the occult or hidden science.
