The aura encircles the body as a frame surrounds a picture. When a person wishes to protect himself from negative influences of any kind, he can build a mental image in which he encases himself. The aura of one who lives above the plane of the senses carries a protective power of blue. One who is given to rational consideration of any subject, undisturbed by emotional reaction, wears an aura of yellow. Golden orange is a preventive against epidemics. An aura of pure white light is a protection against fear of any kind. Let the building of this protective aura be accompanied by the words, "Be still and know that I am God." In this manner one may make himself immune to all malicious attacks, either mental or physical, provided his own heart is free from malice, hatred or vengefulness.
The following excerpt is taken from an old Rosicrucian book:
The highest and deepest occult teaching is that the White Light must never be used for purpose of attack or personal gain, but may properly be employed by anyone, at any time, to protect himself or herself against adverse outside psychic influences, no matter by whom exerted. This is the armor of the spirit and may well be employed in such a way whenever or wherever the need arises.
